Splish splash

Contrary to popular belief, five inches of rain in a day is not normal for Seattle. One or two inches is considered a good, hard rain; five is just silly. Im happy to report that neither The Big Green House nor Science Manor experienced any flooding, sliding, or slumping. Lucy, however, was very disappointed with all the rain; when I opened the door for her walks, she would blink twice, turn, and run down into the basement.
